The cave of Font de Gaume

It is one of the most important and most beautiful caves of the Paleolithic era due to the masterpieces painted on its walls. The cave is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the last caves still open to the public. The cave shows you over 200 pictorial representations of bison, horses, mammoths and reindeer, which are often painted in several colors or engraved. Come and immerse into history!

The cave of Padirac

It is one of the largest visitable sinkholes in Europe and the largest in France. More than 100 meters underground, the visit is done partly by boat on an underground river which allows to admire the „Grande Pendeloque“, a stalactite of more than 60 meters!
